Tough, dependable and ready for whatever trail adventure you can think of, the ONE-FORTY 700 marries a high-value all-aluminium frame to high-performance equipment that won't let you down. Our radical new trail geometry delivers the sort of climbing ability that would make a mountain goat proud while shaming enduro bikes with descending speed. Wide range, 12-speed Shimano drive and four-piston brakes, high-performance Marzocchi and RockShox suspension plus our long travel adjustable dropper post deliver unwavering performance.
The new ONE-FORTY is the ultimate trail bike, made for the toughest trails in the world. It’s the pinnacle of modern trail riding, with a super-steep 80° seat angle, low front end and bottom bracket allow it to clear the most technical climbs, while longer reach figures across all sizes and a well-balanced 65° head angle mean it’s still more than capable of ripping any descent. With our new sizing system, riders can run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, with suspension that becomes more progressive as you size up to better cope with heavier/harder riders. We’ve focussed on weight reduction and rolling speed too, for improved efficiency. All bikes come with long travel dropper posts, WIRE PORT cable routing, a reliable threaded bottom bracket and on-board tool storage plus carbon frames have FidLock magnetic bottle cages.

We rented two Merida road bikes for 3 days. The service from Martin was fantastic, he talked us through advice on routes we could ride and made sure the bike fit was perfect for us. Its not often you get this high level of service so I would recommend Life On 2 Wheels. Thanks for making our bike hire experience a great one!
I rented the e-road bike for my young son, he loved it. Great that we could spend the whole week touring the Island together, riding up the longest climbs day after day. The e-bicycle ran very smoothly and was perfectly set up.
