Cronoescalada Pico de Las Nieves 2018 report
With this years event looming, here's a little wrap up of how the race went last year.. !
Race report from Pfronten MTB Marathon
It was a long time since my last race, but it’s always good to have a goal in mind to keep you focused. This philosophy can be translated to all aspects of life – have a goal, a vision of where you see yourself, and the decisions you make on your journey will take you closer to that goal.
Let the weather decide
Last week was huge. We got a pleasant surprise visitor, Mike Cotty, from The Col Collective. He's a passionate cyclist as myself. Through a week of riding together we exchanged a lot of experience and personal stories and became good friends. But this story is about one of those many epic rides we had over that week.
Having your bike in good, safe running condition can make the difference between a great cycling holiday and a disaster. So make sure both you and your bike are ready for the challenge ahead!
Tour program difficulty levels
How can you know if the rides are suitable for you? In general, our tours are aimed for riders of intermediate, advanced and expert level. Participation in our featured race events is more individual, and some of the races may also be suitable for riders in the leisure category. Unfortunately, we don't provide services for beginners.
Ayagaures MTB Marathon
Finally it was time for the marathon challenge of the winter season. This was the third Ayagaures MTB marathon and I’ve been there in all of them. The first year, my form was really bad. I had come from a difficult situation and was not prepared to race. It also didn’t make it much easier that the weather turned crazy with 6 degrees and hailstorm during the event.
